Our Newest Course Training in ' Value Addition'
In the recent week of 3rd-8th of June 2018, we introduced a new course in Value Addition. This precious innovation in the Organisation introduces farmers, individuals, government officials, and other stakeholders alike to have an in-depth knowledge and long-term benefits of value addition from the grassroots. This course is currently running and KATC endeavors to continue offering it on a permanent basis. We are looking forward to you joining us in this important venture.
The basic principles and practices taught in these courses provide wide flexibility to enable application of SOA under different bio-physical (environmental), economic and social environment. All courses have high practical content with KATC's production units, research and demonstration plots providing facilities/opportunity for outdoor practical hands-on training.
The one day tour to a practicing farmer/ institution included in all the courses further helps to expose the trainees to the practical real life application of the knowledge acquired through the training. All the courses and materials are regularly reviewed and updated, enriching them with tried and verified training methods and information from the KATC's production, research and extension sections as well as elsewhere. During the training period, participants have access to the KATC library where they are availed with different reading materials. At the end of each course, handouts are given to the participants.
